ibis Southampton Centre

Was at the hotel for 6 days and the room was great. Nice and comfortable with a nice view. But what made the stay really nice was the staff, the ladies that staff this hotel are always nice and welcoming, and will always go out of their way to help and accomadate you where they are able. Been going to this hotel on a almost consistant basis for going on 8yrs now and I have never been disapointed once in all that time. Thank you ladies for the fantastic stay and the laughs and I look forward to my next stay here. Keep up the great work and service you deserve a raise after all you did for me. Very decent budget friendly hotel. Awesome view of the cruise ships at the docks. Stayed for one night before our cruise and cant really fault it too much at all for the money. Nice and quiet, good cold pint and very comfortable bed. Shower was nice and powerful. Would maybe mark it down a tiny bit for breakfast cost and quality having had better for that sort of price elsewhere but overall its good. Everything on your doorstep too, some good bars and pubs in walking distance and shops etc too.

I had a very comfortable stay at this hotel. The location is super convenient – it’s very close to Southampton Central train station and also near the cruise terminal. There is a 24-hour McDonald’s nearby, and it only takes about 15 minutes to walk to the city centre, where you can find lots of restaurants, bars, and big shopping malls. The best part of this hotel is definitely the staff. They are very kind, friendly, and helpful. I forgot to bring some of my electronic items, and the front desk staff was kind enough to lend me theirs. I was really touched by their help. If I have the chance to visit Southampton again, I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Stayed for a night while on business in Southampton. Located near the train station is a useful feature. The lobby is bright and modern and well laid out. The room was quite small and with twin narrow beds. Basic room amenities (no safe in room however) and quiet. It did its job, if not a particularly nice place to spend much time. Breakfast was a very modest selection of food, you won't go hungry but you certainly weren’t spoilt for choice. Plenty of seating though. The very best thing about the hotel was the staff, all very courteous, welcoming and professional, they are a real asset to the business. The downside was the ridiculous price as apparently when there are events on in the city, the prices rocket up. But especially so for this hotel and it certainly left a sour aftertaste. I wouldn't return if they charged anywhere near that price again.

Staff were lovely and polite. Extremely helpful when it came to storing medication. Rooms were ok, clean and tidy. Tv was a bit on the small side. The view was fantastic especially when there was a cruiseship to be seen. All in all a decent hotel and stay. I would return and reccommend to others.

Stayed at the Ibis Southampton and had really pleasant experience. The room was tidy, cozy, and had everything I needed. The Staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful, and always cheerful. Thank you to the whole team for making my stay so enjoyable.

Standard Ibis - room slightly dated in places but clean and comfortable. Staff excellent. When I visited breakfast was at the Novotel next door likely because it was low season
